Booking
We issue hire agreements for all bookings. These must be signed and returned along with a deposit for the booking to be confirmed.Until a deposit is received, the vehicles will not be booked. A 10% deposit is required to confirm a booking with Coachcare Travel.As we can now accept card payment, the options for paying a deposit are numerous.
The balance must be cleared seven days before date of travel.
Deposits are non-refundable.
A 10% cancellation fee will be charged on bookings cancelled within seven days of date of travel.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the journey will be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
Amendments to times/destinations may not be made on the day with the driver.
Conduct
Coachcare Travel takes the responsibility of its passengers and staff very seriously.
As such, we ask that all passengers treat our staff and vehicles respectfully at all times.
Should the driver feel that a passenger is causing an unacceptable risk to the safety of the passengers and/or vehicle, we reserve the right to refuse passage.
The organiser will be held liable for any damage caused by his/her party.
The soiling of any vehicle will incur a minimum fee of £30.00 payable to the driver by the organiser.
Travel
Parking fees are payable by the organiser on the day.
We ask that all parties be aware of the agreed pick up and collection times on any trip, as late charges may be applied should a vehicle be forced to wait for passengers.
We reserve the right to have the vehicle depart at agreed times, should the delay cause an impact on the drivers ability to perform his duties within the times laid out by current legislation.
Coachcare Travel reserves the right to provide an alternative vehicle on any booking, without notification.
We cannot be held responsible for failure to reach or leave destinations at a desired time due to bad weather conditions, traffic congestion, or any other matter which is beyond our control.
We cannot guarantee that a vehicle will remain parked at the pick up/collection point, so please do not leave valuables or items which you may require during the day on board.
Lost Property
Coachcare Travel accepts no liability for any items left on vehicles, which are done so at the owners own risk.
Lost property is collected and handed in to the office, so if you need to contact to enquire about a missing item, please contact: 0116 2877728.
Security Deposit
For some bookings a security deposit will be required before the vehicle can be released. Depending on the vehicle booked this can be between £50-£100.00.
In particular, night club jobs, same sex parties such as hen nights/stag do's, sports events etc may incur a security deposit.
This will be returned to the party via a cheque/BACS transfer once the driver is satisfied that no damage has been inflicted by the party on the vehicle. Any cost for cleaning should a member of the party soil the vehicle will be retained out of this deposit.
The driver does not carry cash for the deposit, and cannot refund it on the evening. Coachcare Travel will organise the refund the next working day once the job has been cleared.
